LHDC CELEBRATES 41 ST ANNIVERSARY AND
OFFICERS ELECTED FOR 2006

During the 41 st Annual Meeting of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) held recently, Officers were elected for 2006. Joan Ritchie of Crawford County was elected President, Janice Pruitt of Perry County was elected Vice President; Mike Hammack of Perry County was elected Treasurer, and Jim Buckles of Spencer County was elected Secretary.
LHDC is a not-for-profit, Community Action Agency, organized in 1965 and providing a multitude of social services in Southern Indiana, primarily in Crawford, Perry and Spencer Counties .
During 2005 LHDC generated and managed approximately $11,400,000 in funds providing services ranging from Head Start, Job Training, Family Preservation Child Welfare and Energy Assistance to Housing Rehabilitation, Housing Development and Housing Management. Services were provided to more than 8,200 persons living in 3,400 households.
