LHDC CELEBRATES 43 RD ANNIVERSARY AND
OFFICERS ELECTED FOR 2008
During the 43rd Annual Meeting of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) held recently, Officers were elected for 2008. Clayton Jefford of Perry County was elected President. Don Etienne of Perry County was elected Vice President; Jim Buckles of Spencer County was elected Treasurer and Norma Duley of Spencer County was elected Secretary.
LHDC is a not-for-profit, Community Action Agency, organized in 1965 and providing a multitude of social services in Southern Indiana , primarily in Crawford, Perry and Spencer Counties .
During 2007 LHDC generated and managed approximately $12,000,000 in funds providing services ranging from Head Start, Family Preservation Child Welfare and Energy Assistance to Housing Rehabilitation, Housing Development and Housing Management. Services were provided to more than 8,500 persons living in 3,600 households.
