LHDC Hosts Noted Speaker and Author at Annual Meeting
As part of celebrating its 45 th year of providing services in southern Indiana, Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) hosted noted speaker and author, Gary Montgomery, at its Annual Meeting on April 19, 2010 .
Gary retired in 2007 from WDRB–TV in Louisville , KY after nearly 3 decades as an award winning sportscaster in his hometown. He now devotes his full attention to “Prime Time Productions” the professional speaking company he founded in 1993. He helps businesses and individuals grow by developing communication and leadership skills. His best selling book “I Can Play” relates his inspirational philosophy for life, and he is a co-author on another book, “Irresistable Leadership.”
At LHDC’s Annual Meeting, Gary presented his inspirational keynote address to nearly 150 board members, staff, and other guests, and shared his message of promoting positive change and personal growth. He summed up the work of the board and staff by suggesting that the agency’s acronym – LHDC – serves as a constant reminder of the qualities necessary to be successful in furthering the agency’s efforts of “Helping People….……Changing Lives” : L for leadership , H for hope, D for direction, C for change .
