LHDC Opts for Smoke Free Environment
Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC), headquartered in Tell City , announces that it has adopted a Smoke Free Healthy Lifestyle Environment, an expansion of its previous designation in 1993 that its facilities were non-smoking facilities.
The Smoke Free Healthy Lifestyle Environment means that LHDC is adopting a smoke-free campus and vehicle policy whereby LHDC employees are not permitted to smoke on the campus or grounds of any LHDC operated facility, in any LHDC owned vehicle, in any personally owned vehicle that is parked on LHDC campus or grounds, or in any personally owned vehicle while transporting clients.
LHDC Executive Director, Larry K. Kleeman, said “Just about everyone agrees that the use of tobacco is damaging to one’s health. The adoption of the Smoke Free Healthy Lifestyle Environment by LHDC shows our commitment to providing a smoke free environment for our employees, clients and the general public anytime they’re on our campus or grounds. We believe this commitment also furthers LHDC’s mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve.”
