Lincoln Hills Development Corporation

Receives Grant from RadioShack Corporation

(May 30, 2006)

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) announces that it has been selected as a recipient of a $500.00 grant from RadioShack’s StreetSentz Community Grant Program to assist LHDC in its Family Preservation/Child Welfare Services programs.

“Through the StreetSentz Community Grants Program, RadioShack has the ability to support programs in local communities that aim to help keep children safe,” said Laura Moore, senior vice president and chief communications officer for RadioShack Corporation. “We believe our contributions to agencies like Lincoln Hills Development Corporation will positively impact families across the nation, reinforcing RadioShack’s commitment to the safety and security of the American family.”

LHDC Executive Director, Larry K. Kleeman, stated “We are very appreciative of this grant from RadioShack. We will certainly put these funds to good use, as they are designated to be utilized for staff and client training resources within our services aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect. This grant comes at a particularly crucial time, as critical resources continue to remain difficult to generate due to federal budget difficulties.”

In 2005, LHDC provided Family Preservation/Child Welfare Services to 271 families, including 560 children, in Crawford, Harrison , Gibson, Perry, Posey, Spencer and Vanderburgh Counties .
