Notice of Election

A meeting of low income persons will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the LHDC Community Service Center, 508 W. 5th Street, English, Indiana for the purpose of electing one (1) representative to serve on the board of directors of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation for a term of office to run through January, 2012.

Any low income resident of Crawford County as defined by Federal Income Poverty guidelines, is eligible to attend the meeting, make nominations and vote in the election with the following exceptions:

  1. Any employee of LHDC is not eligible to vote or to be on the Board of Directors unless he/she resigns from employment prior to December 18, 2006.

Relatives in the immediate family of LHDC employees are not eligible to be on the Board of Directors; relatives in the immediate family are defined as follows:  husband, wife, father, mother, son, daughter, father-in-law, mother-in law, sister-in -law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law.

We encourage your interest and participation in this event which can be very meaningful in the future direction of LHDC activities.
