LHDC Perry County Volunteer Recognition Event
The Lincoln Hills Development Corporation Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will host their annual recognition event on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fulton Hill Community Center , Troy . The event is held to honor the Perry County RSVP volunteers who contribute many hours of their time and talent for the betterment of our community. The event will feature food, fun, and prizes. All RSVP volunteers and volunteer station representatives are invited to attend.
Please register on or before November 9 by contacting Kim Scales, RSVP Director, at 547-3435 ext. 230. If you are in need of transportation, arrangements will be made.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers persons age 55 and over the opportunity to serve their community in a variety of volunteer assignments. RSVP is administered nationally by the Corporation for National and Community Service and locally by Lincoln Hills Development Corporation.
