A number of services are provided through the Community Services division of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation:
Energy Assistance
In Crawford, Perry and Spencer Counties, assistance may be available to help low-income, elderly and disabled households in paying their winter heating bills. Assistance may also be available for summer cooling. Call the LHDC Community Services Center for your county.
Weatherization
In Crawford, Perry and Spencer Counties, assistance may be available to provide homeowners and renters with weatherization measures to make their homes more energy efficient and reduce long-term energy usage. Call the LHDC Community Services Center for your county.
Individual Development Accounts
LHDC offers Individual Development Accounts (IDA's) - special savings accounts for qualified persons - to be used for purchasing a home, starting a business, and attending college or other training. Deposits are matched 3:1 up to a maximum $900 match for $300 deposited.
State Section 8 Rental Assistance
LHDC provides rental assistance, through Section 8 vouchers, in Crawford, Gibson, Spencer, Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties.
Retired
or Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
Retired and senior volunteers,
age 55 and over, provide volunteer services at community worksites, such
as schools, libraries, and food pantries, throughout Crawford, Perry and
Spencer Counties. Volunteer and make a difference in your community today.

Owner Occupied Rehabilitation
LHDC provides single-family, owner occupied housing rehabilitation services in Crawford, Perry and Spencer Counties.
