The LHDC Covering Kids and Families program participated in the back-to-school events in Spencer and Perry counties. Rachel Schaefer, the healthcare navigator, set up at William Tell Elementary in Tell City on July 26, William Bennett Early Learning Center in Cannelton on August 1, Perry Central Schools in Leopold on August 2, and at Rockport City Park on August 4 for all of South Spencer schools. Students signed up for a drawing of a free backpack and parents received information on available state and federal healthcare insurance plans. Thank you to everyone for stopping by LHDC ‘s booths to learn more about how we can be of assistance with your health care insurance needs!
