Head Start Annual Report

The Head Start program at LHDC serves kids from birth to 5 years old.  Head Start and Early Head Start offer a comprehensive approach to school readiness by providing children with developmental and sensory screenings, as well as high quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood learning experiences in the areas of social-emotional well being, language and literacy skills, cognitive and general knowledge, physical well being, and motor development.  Families are provided with resources and referral services, support for health and safety, as well as learning and leadership opportunities as they work towards achieving individual and family goals.
