Head Start
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) funds this comprehensive child development program for low-income 3 to 5 year old preschoolers. Education, Health, Social Services, Family Involvement, Nutrition, and Handicap services are available at centers located in Crawford, Harrison, Perry and Spencer Counties. A home-based Head Start program option is also offered in Harrison and Perry Counties.
