KN95 Mask Donation – Perry County Memorial Hospital

LHDC assists with COVID-19 community needs

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation recently purchased KN95 masks to provide as a donation to local area health organizations in Perry, Spencer, and Crawford counties to assist with combating the COVID-19 crisis. KN95 masks are personal protective equipment that are vital for all healthcare providers when treating COVID-19.

LHDC’s Perry County Resource Coordinator, Amanda McDaniel, delivered 500 KN95 masks to Perry County Memorial Hospital, who will distribute the KN95 masks within the hospital and the local PCMH clinics. Perry County Memorial Hospital’s Brian Herwig, CEO; Tina Smith, Director of Med Surg/ICU & Interim CNO; Ira Proctor, Interim Infection Control Practitioner; and Jim Childers, CFO, were present to receive the donation from LHDC.

The Resource Coordination Program is a new program at LHDC that involves Resource Coordinators working with individuals and families to assist with identifying needs and coordinating services and resources in a systemic way. Resource Coordinators are available in Perry, Spencer, and Crawford County.
