Children Paint with Christmas Tree Branches
Tell City, IN, December 14, 2017– Lincoln Hills Development Corporation North Perry Head Start Classroom 1 children engaged in a science activity about Christmas trees. The children observed the characteristics of living and non-living Christmas tree branches. The children then engaged in a discussion about what living Christmas trees needed to live and grow. Afterwards, the children used the Christmas tree branches to create their own paintings. Other activities the children participated in during the month of December included a Christmas patterning activity to build math skills and retelling the story “The Gingerbread Man” to improve their literacy skills.
LHDC North Perry Head Start is accepting applications for Enrollment for the preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 years of age.
