Lincoln Hills Development Corporation North Perry Head Start Classroom 1 preschool children participated in several learning activities recently based on the themes of Community Helpers and Transportation. The activities were related to transportation and a writing activity related to “What I want to be when I grow up”.
The children also received special visits from the Perry County EMS, Dr. Butler’s Family Dentistry, Sheriff Alan Malone, and INDOT.
The children want to share a special, “Thank you” to each of the Community Helpers!
Perry County EMS invited the children to look inside the ambulance and discussed how they provide a “helping service” in our community. INDOT brought their snow plow for the children to see and discussed how they provide a transportation service our community. The children were encouraged to share their ideas and asked questions.
