Perry County Community Foundation Awards LHDC Grant

The Perry County Community Foundation recently granted the Covering Kids and Families Program of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation $6,000 to provide free and local health insurance enrollment assistance to individuals and families in Perry County by a licensed Healthcare Navigator.

“LHDC is grateful for the assistance and our partnership with the Perry County Community Foundation.This award will allow us to assist more uninsured individuals and families in Perry County,” said Kim Morgan, LHDC Director of Services for Families and Individuals.

The LHDC Covering Kids and Families Program provides community outreach and free, unbiased enrollment assistance for health insurance programs such as the Marketplace, Hoosier Healthwise, Medicaid, and the Healthy Indiana Plan. LHDC has three licensed Health Insurance Navigators who can assist community members with their health insurance needs.
