The Community Volunteer Program (CVP) is a volunteer program provided by Lincoln Hills Development Corporation to place volunteers of any age (18+) into volunteer stations throughout our community. CVP volunteers are placed in the community where they can use their skills and talents. Volunteers also develop new skills while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within their community. CVP provides volunteer opportunities for a wide array of skill sets and disabilities, including opportunities to volunteer from home.

The purpose of CVP is to engage persons of any age in volunteer services to meet community needs and provide experiences to enrich the lives of those who volunteer.

• Individuals 18 years of age and older who live in Perry, Spencer, or Crawford Counties.
• Individuals who have a genuine desire to make a difference in their community.
• Individuals who have few (or many) hours to give.

• Great way to connect with others
• Improves self-esteem & teaches valuable skills

• Caring Companions Project - provide social connectedness to seniors, the homebound & disabled through companionship, nutrition service and education 
• Bulk Mail Team Project - assist local non-profits with bulk mail fundraising campaigns​
• Other volunteer opportunities - clerical services, assist with activities at long-term health facilities, hospitals, schools, Head Start Birth-5 centers, local veteran's offices, or other areas identified as a vital need​
