Through a collaboration with Covering Kids and Families – Indiana (CKF-IN), Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) is making healthcare more accessible for individuals and families across multiple counties. Specializing in the role of health insurance navigators, LHDC's Outreach and Enrollment Specialists are dedicated to guiding people through the often complex process of accessing and enrolling in affordable health insurance. This critical service is available in Crawford, Perry, and Spencer counties. By providing expert assistance, LHDC and CKF-IN are working together to ensure that more people can obtain the healthcare coverage they need, thereby fostering healthier communities across the region.

Health Insurance Marketplace
This option helps people without coverage and who aren’t eligible for state health coverage enroll in a high-quality health coverage plan. Most people who apply qualify for premium tax credits that lower the cost of coverage. All plans cover essential health benefits and preventive care. Open enrollment begins November 1 annually. Certain life events (moving, birth of a child, change in income, loss of coverage, etc.) may still qualify you for a special enrollment period to get coverage year-round.
