The Perry County Substance Abuse Committee (PCSAC)'s mission is to address health and social issues in the community resulting from substance abuse. This will be accomplished by coordinating with existing community resources to heighten public awareness and to develop programs to prevent, reduce and treat substance abuse.
In coordination of PCSAC's mission, the committee is offering a community grant to assist local projects that align with preventing, reducing, and treating substance abuse. |
Substance abuse prevention or education, law enforcement/justice, or treatment/intervention projects are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should state the problem the project will address; how the problem to be addressed relates to—and addresses—a specific problem identified by the Comprehensive Plan developed by the PCSAC; the population the project will serve; project goals and objectives—with specific time frames; and how success of the program will be measured/evaluated. |
