Energy Assistance Funds Available

6/25/2020

Lincoln Hills Development Corporation has additional Energy Assistance funds available for households whose income has been reduced or eliminated by COVID-19.
This is an additional $350 benefit available to either new applicants or to households that have applied already in this current program year (since August 2019). This additional $350 benefit is ONLY available to those with a documented qualifying loss of income that can be directly attributed to the COVID-19 crisis. One or more household member must have either become unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic or experienced a reduction in hours or compensation that can clearly be attributed to COVID-19.

If you have not experienced a documented qualifying loss of income due to COVID-19 and you otherwise qualify for the already existing Energy Assistance Program, you may still apply on or before July 31, 2020. The same income limits apply and are listed below:

60% AREA MEDIAN INCOME (Maximum Gross Income to Qualify)

Number in Household                    Gross Annual Income
1                                                          $24,835
2                                                          $32,476
3                                                          $40,118
