Lincoln Hills Development Corporation released a 2021 Perry County Calendar in mid-August, showcasing several local photographers' talents, famous landmarks, and the sheer beauty of the county. Calendar sales will benefit the programs and the communities that LHDC serves across southern Indiana.
"I'm very proud of LHDC's 2021 Perry County calendar and enormously grateful to the local photographers whose talent and generosity made it possible. 2020 has been a tough year for everyone," said Randy Dennison, LHDC Executive Director/CEO. "The pandemic prevented many Perry County natives from returning home to celebrate the annual Schweizer Fest--and I'm afraid COVID will make it impossible for many to come home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. If that's the case, this calendar, which features beautiful and instantly recognizable photographs from Perry County, will make the perfect Christmas gift. If your friends and family can't come home for Christmas, the calendar lets you send home to them." Several retailers throughout Perry County, including the Tell City Depot, Guillaume's Store, LHDC Tell City Elderly Housing, Twilight Towers, Petals Flowers & Gifts, Julie's Café, Celebrations, and the Perry County Chamber of Commerce, have calendars available to purchase. LHDC would like to thank the retailers and the businesses who are selling or displaying calendars for helping with our mission. The agency would also like to thank German American Bank for its sponsorship and Bolin Photography, Orange Moon Designs, Kathleen Ferguson and Erin Emerson for donating photos.
