LHDC RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

Christy Woods recipient of the 2021 Clayton N. Jefford Excellence in Service Award

Tell City, IN, April 27, 2021– During the LHDC Annual Board Meeting on April 12th, LHDC recognized Christy Woods for her exceptional service in 2020. LHDC established the Excellence in Service Award to recognize staff who demonstrate outstanding dedication to LHDC and its mission and to honor long-time board member and former Board President Clayton N. Jefford.

“Christy’s determination despite COVID and staffing issues was undeterred. She is always a team player, and her dedication to the children always shines through,” stated Kelly Luker, Head Start Birth-5 Director.

Christy has been employed at LHDC since 2008 and is an Assistant Teacher at the LHDC North Perry Head Start Center.
